Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a singer who plays back actor, actress and musician. She is primarily musician and performer for Tamil and Malayalam-language films. Annayum, Rasoolum marked her Malayalam and Tamil debut. The actress made her debut in Tamil alongside Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah grew up in an Anglo-Indian home in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Andrea's father was a Madras High Court lawyer. Her sister, who is younger, is an academic research assistant from Belgium and lives in Leuven. Jeremiah is a native of Chennai. in Chennai was a student at Chennai National Public School. He graduated from Women's Christian College. She's said she was a nerd and aspired to become psychiatrist once she had completed the 12th grade of her board exams.Andrea was a classical pianist when she was eight. She joined the Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars at age 10. This ensemble shaped the foundation for her music and singing career. At her college days, she also was an actor and appeared in a variety of stage shows put on by The Madras Players. She served as the president of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea began her stage career through Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. In 2006, she was part of the tea commercial featuring Shiva. The actress was also part of an episode that was telecast on Podhigai. The actress has performed all over India. She briefly appeared in Kanda Mudhal's final scene (2005). Gautham Menon enlisted Andrea play the lead role after she sang in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. Andrea plays Kalyani which is a wife and mother to a man with whom she loves her. Andrea took on the role of Kalyani when Simran Shobana, Tabu and other actresses were invited to audition for the role. The movie was announced in the early part of the year 2010. She agreed in 2011 to be a part-time character in Venkatprabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha, which premiered in August of 2011. In 2013 she began her career in Malayalam film by appearing in Rajeeev's love story Annayum Rasoolum.
